As part of the Celebrations of the City and Municipality of Esposende, Etfor was awarded the Municipal Medal of Merit during a ceremony held at the Esposende Municipal Auditorium and attended by the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro Almeida.
The distinction recognises the company’s journey, its capacity for innovation, job creation, and its contribution to promoting Esposende in national and international markets.
The ceremony also marked a particularly special moment for Etfor, with its founder, D. Lúcia de Jesus de Faria Lages, receiving the Municipal Medal of Honour of the Municipality. The highest municipal distinction was awarded in recognition of her contribution to the economic development of Esposende, job creation and her commitment to valuing people throughout her career.
For Etfor, these distinctions represent a particularly meaningful moment, recognising not only the company’s journey, but also the contribution of its founder.
