Energy
The company is committed to energy transition to combat greenhouse gas emissions, minimise environmental impact and reduce the direct costs of energy consumption.
We recently completed an extension of our facilities, which allowed us to triple the company’s useful area and make significant investments in energy efficiencies, such as acquiring new equipment with state-of-the-art technology and lower power consumption.
We have invested in alternative and clean energies by installing a Production Unit for Self-Consumption (UPAC), consisting of 360 photovoltaic panels with an installed power of 110Kw. This unit produces approximately 35% of the energy we use every year.
We have also installed LED lighting equipment and an air-conditioning system (HVAC) throughout the factory area to provide comfortable working conditions and reduce energy consumption and operating costs.
The company has charging stations for electric vehicles in the car parks to accompany the transition to electric mobility.
